GuessTen asks you to fill a ten-entry list for a daily ranked category. The game shows the category, a guess counter and the positions still to be found.
For players who like systematically exploring a subject through typed answers.
How it compares to Krillion
Being in the top ten is the deciding condition. A true but lower-ranked example will not fill a target, even if it is interesting or obscure.
Daily Tens and GuessTen are separate games, despite their similar top-ten idea. Their lists and datasets need not agree.
How the original GuessTen works
- Read the category, including its year or measurement.
- Enter a candidate and check whether it appears in the list.
- Continue filling the remaining entries before using a reveal.
A useful place to start
Recall a broad shortlist first, then remove candidates that are unlikely to meet the ranking threshold.
